Everything I Draw Is Me

Someone lately asked me why you draw nudity ?

It’s an expression an obsession. I can bore into a detail for hours and hours. seeking the perfect stroke, the perfect mark, the perfect body curve, the perfect skin shade--
I draw when my senses are claustrophobic. The ticking-tockin of the clock in my room suffocates me and I craved to scream, shout. It’s more like the sound of an inverted hammer, hacking methodically at the earth. It’s the sound of a grave.
Every impact I make is a story. Story after story. Story within story. My drawing is like raindrops falling on a piece of paper.
This vapor rises, and I hold my imagination in my hands like the cloud and wring it out like the rain.
When I draw, I can become anything I want. I can turn into any person I drew because I know that his left eye is slightly larger than the right, because I know the deep stories he’s being through. I can turn into the young woman I drew because I know the tale behind every strand of her hair, because I know the reason behind every crease of her face, because I know the reason behind every hand and arm gesture she makes, because I know the reason behind every thought she is having, Everything I draw is Me. It’s my story.
I draw because my drawing is a story I tell.
